By downloading, installing, or using the Noor mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

What Noor Is NOT:

- ❌ Not medical care or diagnosis
- ❌ Not emergency mental health support
- ❌ Not religious authority or Islamic scholarship
- ❌ Not a substitute for professional help
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis:

- Call 911 for emergencies
- Contact a licensed mental health professional
3. Eligibility
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old
Ages 13-17: Use with parental guidance
Geographic: Intended for users in the United States
4. How the App Works
- No account required for basic features
- Reflections stored securely (encrypted) on our servers
- Data automatically deleted after 30 days
- You can delete data anytime
5. AI Companion Disclosure
Important: AI-Generated Content
- ⚠️ The AI is not a human therapist, counselor, or religious scholar
- ⚠️ AI can make mistakes or provide incorrect information
- ⚠️ AI responses are general guidance, not personalized professional advice
- ⚠️ Islamic content is curated but AI-assembled; not reviewed by scholars
Your Responsibility: Use your own judgment. Seek professional help for serious concerns.

Billing Terms
- Payment: Processed through Apple (iOS) or Google (Android)
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in App Store or Google Play settings
- Refunds: Handled by Apple/Google, not ByteWorthy LLC
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- ❌ Rely on the App for medical or psychological treatment
- ❌ Use the App as religious authority
- ❌ Use the App in crisis situations
- ❌ Reverse engineer or extract source code
- ❌ Use the App for illegal purposes
- ❌ Abuse or misuse AI features
8. Content and Intellectual Property
App Content: Proprietary to ByteWorthy LLC
Your Reflections: You retain full ownership
Not Used for Training: Your reflections are not used to train AI models
9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Noor is NOT a substitute for professional care.
By using Noor, you acknowledge:
- Noor is a self-help journaling tool, not therapy
- AI content is general guidance, not medical advice
- In emergencies, contact 988 Lifeline or 911
- Developers are not licensed healthcare providers
- You will seek professional help for mental health concerns
Religious Disclaimer
Noor is NOT Islamic religious authority.
- Islamic content is for reflection, not religious rulings (fatwa)
- For Islamic law (fiqh) questions, consult qualified scholars
- AI-generated content may contain theological errors
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- App provided "AS IS" without warranties
- We are NOT LIABLE for decisions made based on App content
- Maximum liability: Amount you paid in past 12 months (or $100, whichever is less)
10. Privacy and Data
- Reflections encrypted and stored securely
- Automatic deletion after 30 days
- No tracking or behavioral profiling

12. Termination
You can: Delete the App anytime, cancel subscription in App Store/Google Play
